A FEW KIND WORDS

  1. Nicola says:

My mum is the richest person in the world. She is very kind!

  2. Mark says:

I didn’t have the exact change buying a coffee the other day, and a woman in the queue gave me 5p to make up the difference. I think that makes her a rich person!

  3. Luis says:

My mother would be rich for raising nine children and not making a big deal about it.

  4. Polly says:

One of the saddest things about the world we live in is that people can walk around and pretend others don’t exist, so people who stop and talk to homeless or underprivileged people would be massively rich. The kindest, and therefore richest, people already are those who take a second to think of someone else before they think of themselves, even in a small way.

  5. Phil says:

my dry cleaner Keith - the cheeriest man in the world & always there to help out. His Mum’s just had to go into a home, his wife has been diagnosed with cancer & he cares for his grown up mentally disabled son. good luck Keith.

  6. David says:

    My mate Nardia

  7. Gem says:

The right people would be the richest people. For example the nurses and carers in hospitals and care homes who don’t get paid anywhere near their worth in the real world but who care for those who need it with compassion and respect. They would be millionaires.

  8. Liz says:

The man who let me on the tube before him even though he was there first …

  9. Jen Taylor says:

The lovely man who picked me up off the floor when my bike tyre exploded in the middle of a crossroad deserves a mention. He was the only person that seemed to notice that I’d fallen off(!) and even offered to carry the bike back to the shop for me and b*llock the guy who had over-pumped the tyres! It seems that there aren’t many people kind enough to take time away from their busy lives for even a second to help others… But those that do rock!

  10. Graham says:

My Auntie Pat is rich. She has nursed several members of my family while also working many many hours in an old people’s home. She has the most energy of anyone I know and is always smiling…and talking!
